The project wrapped the existing red brick house and new first-floor extension in contemporary cladding, giving the home a necessary kerb appeal uplift while blending with the local vernacular. The ground-floor extension creates an expansive kitchen-dining-sitting area, while a dedicated utility/boot room and pantry cater to family needs. The first-floor extension provides scenic views over the large garden and countryside for the principal bedroom, which now includes an ensuite and walk-in wardrobe.
Modern green fenestrations improve the kerb appeal while maintaining the aesthetic of the Essex countryside and the characteristic charm of the quaint village. Thoughtful spatial planning improves circulation, and an emphasis on natural materials and sustainability ensures both function and style.
